Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Awaytime does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). We do not share your data with data brokers. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Because we do not track you, Awaytime does not show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
1. Data We Collect
To provide and improve our service, we collect limited categories of data:
- Usage Data (Anonymous): Information about how you interact with the app (e.g., which buttons you click, which features you use). This is not linked to your identity.
- Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance metrics to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Purchase History: Information regarding your subscription state (fulfilled via RevenueCat) to manage your access to premium features.
- Contact Info: Your email address, only if you choose to contact our support team.
What we DO NOT collect:
We explicitly do not collect or store the following:
- Precise location data
- Contacts or Photos
- Health or Fitness data
- Your Name or Physical Address (unless provided in a support email)
- IDFA or other advertising identifiers
2. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted service providers to help run the app. Each is configured to respect your privacy:

3. Screen Time Data
Awaytime utilizes Apple's FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings APIs to help you set limits. All specific app usage data and blocking configurations remain strictly on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
4. How We Use Information
We use the collected data solely to:
- Maintain app functionality and fix crashes.
- Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the user experience.
- Verify your subscription status.
- Respond to your support requests.
5. Your Rights

6. Data Retention

Awaytime is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions like the EU/UK).
